Our art area is always available to the students and contains a variety of media they are free to experiment with without needing the assistance of adults. But Art Day is special. On this day we do more involved or messy projects.
Some months we explore and create with a variety of media while learning about different artists, styles, and elements of art. Other months Art Day is simply about enjoying the process, being creative, and having fun.
Each month alternates with an Art Day and a Science Day.
Science Day

How can polar bears stand swimming in such cold water? What will dissolve a gummy bear the fastest? How long does it take ice cubes to melt in the sun? Is there a way we can make oil and water mix? Can we create our own chemical reaction? Let's make a lava lamp!! Science Day is all about exploring the curious things in our world and asking questions.
Each month alternates between a Science Day and an Art Day.
Starting Spanish Early
Starting Spanish Early
Children have the ability to learn new languages far easier and faster than adults. Tiny Plum students have daily Spanish lessons where they learn vocabulary, read Spanish books, as well as sing songs and nursery rhymes they are already familiar with in Spanish. When I ask the children to do something I often repeat the request to them in both languages - "Put on your coat please. Ponte tu abrigo por favor."

Included in Your Tuition
Students are offered breakfast and lunch along with three snacks served throughout the school day. Breakfast and lunch are kid-friendly, healthy options that include a fruit, vegetable, and milk. Snacks are finger foods; usually fruit or crackers. Meals and snacks are included in your child's monthly tuition.
During the summer months we have occasional Ice Cream Days and in the winter we have Smores Days as a treat.
